Is there any online dictionary that phrases the word in various sentences?

Question by Todd M: Is there any online dictionary that phrases the word in various sentences?
All the dictionaries I have found simply have a sentence describing the meaning of the word. And that makes sense, its quick and efficient.

But I was hoping to find an online dictionary that has various examples of the word being used in various sentences. Is there any such thing?

Best answer:

Answer by panacebo
Dictionary.com generally provides a sentence for each subtle meaning of the word.
Otherwise, just google the word itself and see how it is being used.

There is a website…

http://www.alcor.com.au/rhyming_dictionary.asp

It’s not the best, but it might help.

Also, try some reggaeton dictionaries, they have a lot of slang definitions – which might help. Heres one, search for more:

Where can I find an electronic dictionary as a reading companion for French and Spanish literature?

Question by leornk: Where can I find an electronic dictionary as a reading companion for French and Spanish literature?
I need a dictionary with as many words as possible. Preferably I can find one for English-French-Spanish, but English- French is fine as well. I often read French literature and need a portable device that will allow me to look up obscure, French vocabulary words in an instant. The electronic dictionary doesn’t need to be a “talking dictionary”. I just need one with a vast vocabulary.
