Question by Gart888: Where can i find a dictionary of acoustic sound speeds for different materials?
A prof who I am working for needs an extensive list of acoustic sound speeds of different materials. This list/dictionary must be from a source reputable enough to use in a scientific publication. Online versions or hard copy versions are acceptable. Anyone have any ideas? Google and wikipedia let me down.
Ok, those answers were kinda on the right track, but i guess i wasnt specific enough with my first question.
I’m looking for the speed of sound in as many FLUIDS as we can find. The more the better.
Thanks for the effort even if you dont find what i’m looking for.

Question by Tashi: How can you record a person’s accent without them reading a whole dictionary?
My grandmother has a fantastic accent that is a combination of Malaysian and British. I would like to record it, and am wondering if there is a shorter way to do it than just handing her a dictionary. If you know of one, please be as specific as possible. Thanks!

Nokia phones use “ISA Platfrom” operating system and it’d not licensed to any no because it’s a by Nokia and ther for no public API for it. Programmers you J2ME (Micro Java) to develop softwares for Nokia phones.
It uses a numbers input and change it into words list. Ever word has a rank in the list. For example:
If you type 64 this could mean “in”, “do” or “im” the dictionary will choose “in” because it has the highest rank under “64″ but will give you the option to select from the matches.
