Question by Randi: How do I get my dictionary back?
Somehow, my dictionary application on my Mac got deleted. I use it quite often for school so I’m feeling a bit lost without it. Is there any way I can either recover it or find a free download of it online?

There isn’t any document-level dictionary, but you can turn off spell checking for the document this way:
In Word versions prior to Word 2007 (Vista):
1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
3. Check the Hide Spelling Errors In this Document checkbox.
4. Check the Hide Grammatical Errors In this Document checkbox.
5. Click OK.
In Word 2007:
1. Click the round Office button in the upper-left corner of the window.
2. Click the Word Options button.
3. Click Proofing.
4. Check the Hide Spelling Errors In this Document Only checkbox.
5. Check the Hide Grammar Errors In this Document Only checkbox.
6. Click OK.
Hope that helps.

Question by auntb93again: What is a good, inexpensive paperback dictionary?
I just bought myself a new dictionary two days ago, and am paying the price for buying the cheapest. It does not even give the latin name of a species when you look up an animal’s name! Several words I have wanted just in the last two days are not there. How can I maximize the effectiveness of a dictionary while minimizing the price? (Don’t say “go to Costco,” because I’m not a member.)

Question by Andrew S.: What is the difference between a “college” dictionary and a “normal” dictionary?
I am searching for a decent dictionary, and after visiting Barnes & Noble this evening, I was shocked to find both an Oxford College Dictionary and just a plain old Oxford American Dictionary. Both books were sealed, so I could not thumb through the pages. Does anybody know the difference between the two? On a side note, both appeared to be the same size…

Try to free-register on the web(for watching Japanese-English/English-Japanese dictionary) below for example. Unfortunately no list like what you want there is but instead you can check one by one if you put Hiragana on the inquiry.
