Question by Question: Where can I find a spanish dictionary add-on for firefox?
I use the “Dictionary tool-tip” add-on for firefox to double click words that I don’t know the meaning of, but it’s only in English. Is there a similar add-on but in Spanish?
To be more specific, I want the definition of spanish words too, not just the english ones.

yes but I can’t send a link because you have to click on add-ons then search for ‘Spanish dictionary’ for yourself – about five options come up and 2 of these look promising. Always get the ones with the green ‘jigsaw’ piece if you can as these are the official ones.

Assuming you mean Microsoft Word and not Microsoft Works Word Processor, you can edit the custom dictionary this way:
In Word versions prior to Word 2007:
1.Click the Tools->Options menu item.
2.Click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
3.Click the Custom Dictionaries button.
4.Select CUSTOM.DIC. Be careful not to clear the checkbox.
5.Click the Modify button.
6.Find and select the word you want to delete.
7.Click the Delete button.
8.OK out of everything.
In Word 2007:
1.Click the round Office button in the upper-left corner of the window.
2.Click the Word Options button.
3.Click Proofing.
4.Select CUSTOM.DIC. Be careful not to clear the checkbox.
5.Click the Edit Word List button.
6.Find and select the word you want to delete.
7.Click the Delete button.
8.OK out of everything.
Hope that helps.

Question by dylan: How do natives use a Chinese dictionary?
For an extra credit point in my Latin class, (Yes, Latin. Weird, I know.) my teacher wants us to find how natives use a Chinese dictionary. I know the answer is not pinyin. I saw that it is organized by radicals (and then total number of strokes?), but I don’t really understand the concept. Could somebody explain?
Also, she wants us to find how to text in Chinese. Thank you so so so much.

Answer by Joe
each character has a radical group that it belongs to.
after we identify the radical group, we count how many strokes the rest of the character has. and it is listed there in the order from least stroke upward.
the radicals themselves are also arranged by number or strokes in the beginning of the dicitonary.
at the end of the dictionary, there’s another method of looking up charcters based on the pronunciation. and the stroke (from least to more)
the same goes for texting.
good luck
